Cookie policy
This site stores very little in your browser. Analytics are off until you accept them, and you can change your choice at any time.
What the site stores
| Name | Type | Purpose | Duration | Needs consent |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| imc-consent | Browser storage (localStorage) | Remembers your cookie choice and its version and date | Up to 180 days, then we ask again | No, it is necessary |
| theme | Browser storage (localStorage) | Remembers whether you chose the light or the dark theme | Until you clear your browser data | No, it is necessary |
| imc-lang | Cookie (first party) | Remembers the language you chose with the language switcher, so the site does not suggest another one. It is set only when you pick a language | 1 year | No, it is functional and set at your request |
| _ga | Cookie, set by Google Analytics 4 | Tells visitors apart, in a pseudonymous way | 2 years by default; can be shortened in the Google Analytics property | Yes, analytics |
| _ga_<container id> | Cookie, set by Google Analytics 4 | Keeps the state of a session | 2 years by default; can be shortened in the Google Analytics property | Yes, analytics |
The two Google cookies are set only after you accept analytics. Until then the site does not load any Google script.
Consent Mode v2
Google Consent Mode v2 has four signals. On this site they work like this:
- analytics_storage: denied by default; granted only if you accept analytics.
- ad_storage: always denied. We do not use advertising.
- ad_user_data: always denied.
- ad_personalization: always denied.
The signals are set to denied before any Google tag exists on the page. The Google Analytics script is requested only after you accept.
Accept, refuse or change your choice
The first time you visit, a banner offers Accept, Refuse and Customize. Refusing is as easy as accepting. You can change your choice at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.
If you withdraw your consent, we stop the measurement, set the signals back to denied and delete the Google Analytics cookies we can reach. A script that is already loaded stops sending data, and a reload removes it completely.
You can also delete cookies and site data in your browser settings.
Third parties
Google processes the Analytics data under its own terms. See the privacy policy for the recipients, the legal basis and your rights.
